Yay! an online quilt festival!
I have several quilts "almost done" and another that I've been saving to show you (no good pics yet), but then I remembered Zoe's quilt-- my first finished hand-quilted piece.
The piecing was very simple, I think the blocks measured 8" finished. It's hand quilted using a motif I found in a 1950s sewing magazine and enlarged on a xerox machine. I love this pattern, but quilting in circles is a pain in the butt! (Funny, I continue to do it though..)
This quilt was made from January-June, 2004, in Atlanta, GA & Athens, Greece. Made as a baptism gift for our dear friend Zoe.
New developments in family health issues necessitate a quick trip to Chicago this weekend. while we're trying to stay calm, please send peaceful thoughts our way. Thank you.
