Well, I can't take the credit for this one. I gave up searching for quilters in Greece about 4 years ago. Thankfully, Constantina was more persistent and in a websearch for "quilters in greece" she found my blog. :)
Sadly, I don't actually live in Greece (sadly for her, I mean. I think I might go nuts if I actually lived there, no offense to the in-laws, of course), but while I was there this summer we got to meet up and talk about quilting! (among other things).
We couldn't actually do any sewing together though, what with time/transportation/family constraints, but maybe next year. It was so comforting to sit and talk quilting in a place that, though beautiful, was always missing something for me. Not anymore.I can have Greece and my quilting too.

How fun! Did you encourage her to start a blog? I love international quilt blogs. Any interesting fabric to be had in Greece?
greece is definitely not a quilting country - i did a lot of patchwork beofre i came to live here, and when i showed my work to others, they stared at it in a condescending way.
(it's a good place for other crafts such as jewelry making, something that isn't up my alley)
