Here I go again

100_1478

Well, we're off. Athens by way of Madrid this time. I've never flown through Spain, that's kind of exciting. I was up til 1:15am last night finishing my last skirt (tabacco-colored brown linen, silky trim) and I think I'm ready to go.

Thanks so much for all the great comments lately. I feel strange because I haven't been quilting, but I've been sewing up a storm. Didn't end up making a new handbag, treated myself to a huge deep teal one instead. I hope everything goes well this trip, hope I match at least.

I don't think I'll have internet access, but if I do, I'll try to update...

Enjoy! I'm sure you will have a great time and look smashing in your MBJ (made by Jessica) clothes.

I am just like you are, sewing a lot more lately and not as much quilting. Enjoy your vacation!

I have stumbled upon your site and am so impressed with your work...aprons, skirts and beautiful quilts! Your travels sound fantastic! I noticed your hometown of Fall River, MA, my great-grandparents where from there.

I hope you are having fun. Everytime I read one of your posts it seems like you do wherever you go, it actually reminds me of one of my dearest friends who is also always traveling.
Your skirts are amazing too. When you get back I would love some suggestions for cool off the beaten path places in MA. I'm from here, but everything I loved is gone. I have a feeling you could offer some great advice.

LOVE the skirts. I know what you mean about wardrope stress for GREECE! Your skirts look fab!

Now you have a great time!!!! We leave on Aug 11th! We'll compare stories when we get back.

Do you ever go to Greece in December. That is when we are usually there. It would be fun to hook up in Kifissia for coffee and a craft chat!!

Enjoy
