We had a very wonderful, restful and peaceful Christmas followed by a relaxing week at home and a fun filled trip to Virginia for the New Year. Photos were taken, snowmen were built, friends visited & I even got to a quilt shop.. All posts I could have written but probably never will.
Now George and I are in Chicago and my father is undergoing his second surgery in the past 5 days. I don't have words to really describe this past week, and the cute photos of George my sister has been taking don't really express the mood of the post. I'm finding peace in Travel Quilt #2, thank god. One stitch at a time, one breath at a time.
